Taylor Swift says she’s SINGLE: “I’m perfectly happy being alone”

The Blank Space hitmaker has said that her decision to be boyfriend-free is completely her choice

Taylor Swift has gone through so many changes in the past year, with a switch from country to pop music and a move to New York and now the past serial-dater has confessed that she’s “perfectly happy” being single.

In her stunning cover interview with Billboard magazine, the 24-year-old opens up about her writing style, her decision to leave Spotify, and how she had to persuade her music team that pop was the right direction for her latest smash hit album, 1989.
When asked if writing about her love life had given her any problems with the way people “connect the dots”, she said: “I don't have anyone whose feelings are on the line except for me.

  "If I was in love with someone right now, I don't know how I would handle everyone else weighing in on our stories, because when you're in a relationship there are a lot of secrets and a lot of sacred moments that you don't want to divulge."
Taylor, who has been linked back to her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles and The 1975 front man Matt Healy, has said that she’s happy on her own.
"I am 24, perfectly happy being alone,” she explained. “One of the reasons I'm perfectly happy being alone is that no one gets hurt this way."

  Taylor, whose album 1989 came out too late for it to qualify for The Grammy Awards, saw her single Shake It Off nominate for song and record of the year, while she was also nominated for best pop solo performance.
This week, Taylor and her BFF Victoria’s Secret model Karlie Kloss were pictured getting super-close at The 1975 show – which sent Twitter into meltdown.
But a US rep for Taylor has denied that the pair were kissing as they told Mirror Celebs: "It's sad that on the day it's announced Taylor has three Grammy nominations for 'Shake It Off', I have to shake off this."
